Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Network Security Engineer who is able to operate as a Palo Alto SME , to come and join the team. You’ll join our excellent team on an initial 6‑month contract with scope to extend, based in Basel. You’ll be acting as the Subject Matter Expert for Palo Alto SASE, with a strong focus on Prisma Access. Leading the design, implementation, optimisation, and support of secure access solutions for enterprise customers. What you’ll be doing: You’ll be an advocate of Opticore, working with our client, who is a leader in security, delivering multiple projects focused on their Prisma Access solution. Working on high‑visibility, customer‑facing projects across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio Designing and deploying Palo Alto Prisma Access solutions Architecting and managing SASE integrations, including Next‑Gen Firewalls (PAN‑OS), GlobalProtect and Cloud Identity providers What you’ll bring: You must be fluent in English and German History of delivering major Prisma Access projects Hands‑on experience with Extended Expertise in Palo Alto Prisma Access (SASE), PAN‑OS, Panorama
