In this role you lead Oracle's Frankfurt Data Centers, steering senior-level operations and strategy across multi-site infrastructure. You drive operational excellence, safety, and governance while aligning resources to high-impact goals. You will manage managers and partners to ensure service delivery, incident handling, and capacity planning at scale. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide senior leadership and strategic direction across Frankfurt Data Centers
- Coach and mentor managers and staff with regular performance feedback and career development guidance
- Grow the organization through targeted recruitment and talent retention
- Audit spaces and practices for 5S, safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Set priorities, delegate through managers, and align resources to top operational goals
- Oversee performance and service delivery with vendors, colo providers, and internal teams
- Serve as escalation point for Frankfurt operations and engage senior stakeholders to remove blockers
- Be on-call for urgent operational issues and emergencies
- Ensure OCI SLAs and timely delivery of projects within budget
- Participate in GEO-wide and global projects supporting regional and cross-region success
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 8+ years managing data center or infrastructure operations teams including line management, appraisals, and hiring
- 5+ years in hyperscale data center operations or large-scale environments
- 5+ years across IT infrastructure, distributed systems, and operational support
- Leadership across full data center operations lifecycle (rack, deployment, incidents, capacity, maintenance, decommissioning)
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (cabling, networking, cooling, power, UPS, generation, white space)
- Experience with process improvement and operational excellence (5S or similar)
- Ability to analyze complex processes, identify root causes, and drive improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication with senior stakeholders and distributed teams
- Influencing, stakeholder management, and decision-making across technical and non-technical audiences
- Autonomous leadership through managers in a complex environment
- Willingness to provide after-hours leadership for urgent issues
- Experience supporting large enterprise or cloud customers in demanding environments
- Strong governance, compliance, audit readiness, safety, and site standards knowledge
- Track record of capacity planning, resource planning, and delivering targets within budget
- Understanding of change, incident, risk management, and continuous improvement in live operations
