Job Description

  • This role requires business-level German language skills.

Oracle offers a full suite of food and beverage technology solutions, including mobile order and pay, online ordering, POS, end-to-end payment processing, and analytics, to help you deliver better business performance and exceptional customer experience. This role focuses on new business development within the Restaurant market, serving all market levels including Table Service Restaurants, Quick Service restaurants, bars, coffee shops, dark kitchens, and drive-thrus.

We are seeking a New Business Sales Hunter for the DACH region. You will be part of a passionate sales team dedicated to our industry and objectives.

This is a great opportunity to join a newly formed New Business Team within the Strategic Food and Beverage Sales division.

You should have strong communication and relationship skills at C-Level, be highly motivated, adaptable to fast-changing environments, and lead by example.

Ideal candidates will have experience in selling technology software (SaaS) and related services such as hardware and consulting, with a proven track record in exceeding sales targets. Experience in selling IT solutions into Food and Beverage, Hospitality, or Retail sectors is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a hunter role, with success in acquiring new customers from Tier 3 to Tier 4 markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the introduction of innovative technology solutions to restaurants, enabling them to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Focus on the Restaurant industry as your target market.
  • Present our suite of offerings, including Simphony, Oracle Payments, Crowdtwist (Loyalty), Kitchen Display Systems, Inventory Management, Online Ordering, and Hardware solutions.
  • Act as a hunter with at least 3 years of relevant experience, consistently closing deals and driving new business.
  • Engage in consultative selling to high-level executives, offering complete cloud, hardware, and consulting solutions.
  • Leverage your network and prospecting skills to generate successful sales campaigns.
  • Close deals effectively and nurture existing client relationships to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate across teams within Oracle to navigate complex sales processes.
  • Communicate effectively with C-level clients and act as a Restaurant Sales evangelist.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, passion, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to open doors and build sales pipelines.
  • Persistent, target-driven, with a hunter mentality.
  • Excellent closing skills and ability to manage the full sales cycle.
  • Proven experience selling complex Business Software Applications.
  • Experience selling to the Hospitality/Restaurant industry.
  • Business-level German language skills and familiarity with the German market.
