Safety & Reliability Engineer – Germany | Airbus Projects in Manching

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Safety Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus.

Locations include Manching and Donauwörth.

What You Will Do

• Perform Safety, Security & Reliability analyses for military helicopter systems.
• Support system integration and risk mitigation (fire, damage, bird strike).
• Contribute to system design and architecture for new developments.
• Develop operational safety recommendations and flight manual updates.
• Review supplier designs for safety and reliability compliance.
• Support airworthiness, certification and regulatory approvals.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Aerospace, Machanical, Design or a related field
• Relevant hands‑on experience in Aerospace safety analyses, airworthiness, certification and risk assessment.
• B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.
• B1/B2 German Level – is a plus.
• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
