Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Manufacturing Engineer / Composite (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

Your responsibilities:

• Set up technology roadmap to deliver maturity gates demonstrating industrial performance and route to pre-industrialisation
• Protect Airbus IP (Intellectual Property) ownership
• Trade and develop new composite solutions for a high rate manufacturing of composite fuselage
• Support composite technology development including automation and inspection
• Work alongside the Manufacturing, Design, Stress, Quality and Simulation Engineers to develop end-to-end industrial solutions
• Support collaboration with partners such as Technological centres or suppliers for new developments
• Support risks assessment inside projects
• Prepare reports and presentations demonstrating technology maturity

Your profile:

• Completed technical studies in engineering or comparable
• Work experience in research and development, Manufacturing Engineering, Composite Materials and materials testing
• Knowledge of composite quality requirements, including manufacturing specifications, processes, and standards
• Experience in project management
• Experience in Google Workspace
• Fluent English skills
• German skills would be a plus
• Willingness to travel is a nice to have
