Role Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Analyst who is passionate about combating disinformation and contributing to the security and integrity of online information. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on projects focused on the MENA, LATAM, and Indo-Pacific regions, with a deep understanding of the media landscape and information ecosystems in these areas. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex digital environments to identify and counter information threats effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Keep a vigilant eye on various online platforms and social networks, identifying and analyzing disinformation trends.
  2. Delve deep to uncover the roots, motives, and methods behind disinformation campaigns.
  3. Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to devise effective strategies that minimize the impact of misinformation.
  4. Maintain and utilize databases and systems essential for tracking and countering disinformation.
  5. Articulate your findings in comprehensive reports and presentations for our partners and clients.
  6. Continuously track the latest advancements in disinformation tactics and integrate them into your work.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in media analytics or a related field.
  2. Prior experience working on projects focused on the MENA, LATAM, and Indo-Pacific regions.
  3. Advanced proficiency in English.
  4. Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  5. Deep understanding of social networks, digital media, and online communities.
  6. Familiarity with data analysis tools and methods (e.g., SQL, APIs, Excel).
  7. Basic proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages is a strong advantage.
  8. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex, abstract challenges.
