Your new responsibilities

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, spare parts, and services

Align suppliers with future technology objectives and drive innovation through early collaboration with R&D and Operations

Analyze cost structures and implement cost reduction initiatives through strategic negotiations, while optimizing the supply chain to improve the availability of equipment, spare parts, and services

Collaborate within cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards, mitigate risks, and effectively manage issues

Conduct market analyses to enable advantageous deals and partnerships that align procurement activities with business objectives and technology roadmaps

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, while continuously improving procurement processes and tools to increase efficiency and the overall value contribution of the procurement function

Establish supplier performance metrics and further develop the respective category to support future investments

Who we are looking for

Completed university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a completed commercial/vocational qualification with extensive professional experience

Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, category management and/or sales within the semiconductor industry

Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes combined with a solid technical understanding

Strong results orientation (ensuring target costs, target schedules, and defined quality standards for all procured equipment and materials

Good user knowledge of SAP and Ariba, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong assertiveness and teamwork skills combined with excellent communication abilities

Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Willingness to travel (10–20%)

We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
