ph3Role Overview /h3 pThe FPA Manager is responsible for leading the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis activities for Otis Switzerland. This role acts as a strategic business partner to operational and commercial teams, delivering financial insights that drive performance, profitability, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with business understanding and an ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and support data‑driven decision‑making. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Planning and Budgeting /h3 ul liLead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, working closely with regional teams, sales, service, and operations. /li liConsolidate financial plans and prepare scenario analyses to support management decisions. /li /ul h3Performance Analysis and Reporting /h3 ul liMonitor key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, margin, OPEX, working capital) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. /li liPrepare monthly performance reports, dashboards, and variance analyses against budget and forecast. /li /ul h3Strategic Business Support /h3 ul liPartner with commercial, service, and operations leaders to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives such as pricing strategies, cost optimization, or capital investment. /li liProvide financial input for business cases, tenders, and investment proposals (e.g., modernization projects, new installations, or MA activity). /li /ul h3Cash Flow and Working Capital Management /h3 ul liSupport the monitoring and forecasting of cash flow, collections, and project‑related working capital. /li liAnalyze trends in billing, collections, and inventory to improve capital efficiency. /li /ul h3Tools, Systems Process Improvement /h3 ul liDrive improvements in FPA tools, models, and processes, ensuring scalability and accuracy of financial insights. /li liCollaborate with IT and Controlling to streamline data flow and reporting systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools). /li /ul h3Governance and Compliance /h3 ul liEnsure adherence to internal controls, group policies, and financial reporting standards. /li liSupport audits and internal reviews related to financial planning and forecasting. /li /ul h3Qualifications, Competencies and Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is essential. /li liProficiency in both German English. French and Italian are a plus. /li liExtensive experience in accounting leadership and good understanding of construction accounting practices, including job costing, percentage of completion, and project‑based financial management. /li liProficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills. /li liStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead a team and collaborate with other departments. /li liHighly motivated and target‑driven, strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial concepts and data into actionable business strategies. /li /ul pOtis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
