Our Accounting & Procurement Services division offers highly automated products within comprehensive IT and process consulting, primarily utilizing SAP where appropriate. This includes SAP FI/CO, MM/SD, and consolidation and analytics solutions. Our secondary processes are characterized by standard software and mutual support, creating synergies within the Otto Group. We work closely with business units to design digital best-practice processes and jointly define ownership and governance.

We, the Finance & Analytics domain, are responsible for the central SAP FI/CO system of the Otto Group as well as SAP consolidation, analytics, and treasury solutions. We are a team of about 25 friendly colleagues who establish close ties with our SAP solution business units. Organized into several product teams (FI/CO, Analytics/Consolidation/Treasury, ERP TEC, Payment Factory), we value personal exchange.

Your Impact

• As \’Product Lead SAP Finance and Analytics,\‘ you lead the domain at a departmental head level with about 25 team members.
• You demonstrate modern leadership, maintain close customer contact, and manage agile product and project processes.
• Together with your teams, you work on the vision of the product pillar, oversee its development, daily operations, and customer interactions.
• Teamwork and collaboration within and across domains are essential: only \’together we set standards.\‘ You will form a unit with the People and Process Leads to further develop your domain.
• You lead your team members, especially product managers, technically and are willing to contribute directly to product or project management as needed.

Your Profile

Must-have:

• Proven leadership experience as a team or department head with a clear customer focus
• Extensive experience with SAP FI
• Deep process knowledge in accounting and finance
• Experience in product management
• Confident, clear, empathetic demeanor and willingness to network within the domain
• Degree in (business) informatics, economics, or a comparable qualification
• Excellent German and good English skills, as the team includes English-speaking colleagues and not all clients are in DACH

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with agile methods supporting transparent, modern leadership
• Experience in SAP Application Management
• Knowledge of SAP consolidation, analytics, and treasury solutions
• Cloud experience to enrich our team
