Your new job at Outdooractive entails:
- You will be tasked with setting up a new department that will bundle all services for in-house systems including invoicing, CRM, accounting, controlling, reporting, analytics, and revenue sharing.
- You will develop and be responsible for the architecture of these systems spanning both the B2B and B2C lines of business. All relevant data will be transferred to a data lake, from which you will create reports and carry out analyses. Our system is based on Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics CRM, and Power BI. It is further supplemented by Personio, Datev, MS Office 365, Teams, and proprietary tools.
- This system will form the basis of the future B2B funnel to encompass and manage lead generation, the business website, marketing automation, our store, product automation, and our helpdesk. The platform is international and covers several different countries managed by subsidiaries and resellers. This requires the platform to be localized to accommodate currencies, taxation law, and other legal considerations as well as the connection to national payrolls and accounts.
- The system is currently being set up and you will be responsible for scaling the system and transforming our B2B business into an online presence and ensuring rapid international growth of the B2C business.
- You will oversee a seamless integration of the new department with the Outdooractive platform and work closely with product development and platform performance teams to optimize the user and customer experience as well as our internal processes and profitability.
- As an excellent networker, you will work closely with both the B2B and B2C departments, the marketing and administration teams, and our subsidiaries, resellers, and external partners.
What Outdooractive expects from you:
- You have a degree and several years of relevant professional experience.
- You have a proven track record in sales, business development, and project management, ideally within the outdoor, tourism and/or destination marketing industry.
- You have extensive experience in building and maintaining a network and ideally already have an established network.
- You are familiar with classic and current traffic and lead generation systems, digital technologies such as CRM, sales, data management, cloud systems, marketing automation, websites, and finance.
- You have a visionary mindset and can generate enthusiasm and inspiration with your ideas.
- You have strong social skills and enjoy working in and leading teams.
- Your work ethic is characterized by personal responsibility, professionalism, and commitment.
- You are passionate about outdoor sports and innovative technologies.
- You have experience of working directly under senior management and can build cooperative and productive partnership with the other departments.
