We’re looking for a Senior R&D Engineer who thrives at the intersection of materials science, data analytics, and AI/ML. What You’ll Do
As a key member of our Advanced Modelling team, you will:
• Actively shape the application and development of data-driven decision-making processes at R&D.
• Build and optimize data infrastructure to accelerate innovation and product development.
• Apply AI/ML and materials informatics to extract insights across the value chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and innovation.

About you
You’re a curious, proactive problem-solver who enjoys working across disciplines. You bring:
• A MSc or PhD in engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field, with a focus on computational methods, materials modelling, or informatics.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial materials development, data science, or AI/ML—ideally in the steel or metals industry.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), large datasets, and modern data tools.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English.
