We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Development Project Manager position to our US office who will work with the company's portfolio development.

About the job

As a Development Project Manager, you will manage projects in all development stages of the US portfolio such as land control, environmental studies, grid connection, permitting and construction. You will also coordinate and support the finance team to help secure financing, outside investment, and the eventual monetization of the projects.

Your tasks will include:

• Building the OX2 US portfolio working to identify and prioritize new greenfield sites and opportunities to acquire projects in various stages of development.
• Managing and delivering development tasks, including interconnection, permitting and approvals in a manner that ensures that budgets are met, timeframes are kept, and quality is optimized.
• Creating, updating and reporting of project budgets and financial return forecasts.
• Oversight and management of project designs, design deliverables and other engineering aspects of the projects, including managing the interface between the development team, internal and external engineering resources, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal technical solutions.
• Manage and procure services from external consultants, vendors, service providers, including law firms.
• Stakeholder management with stakeholders such as local, state and federal stakeholders who have jurisdiction over the required permitting and approvals needed to construct and operate renewable projects.
• Development and management of the relationships with neighbors, local associations, residents, and landowners.
• Actively monitoring the market for new opportunities across all US markets and all renewable energy technologies.
• Conduct/supervise due diligence during project acquisition process.
• Producing regular development portfolio reports.
• Following company's processes and continuously improving local working practices.
• All other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

About you

For this position we want you to have:

• 5+ years' experience in developing complex renewable energy projects in the US (ideally Solar, Wind, or Battery Storage) from site identification to permitting to achieving financial close.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, planning, engineering, real estate, finance or a related field.
• Solid understanding of renewable energy markets, regulations and project lifecycle.
• Experience in the acquisition processes for assets in development (Solar/Wind/BESS).
• Project Management skills and experience in using project management controls (budgets, schedules, etc.).
• Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities and urgencies presented day to day.
• Strong network of relationships with other developers/key market players.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective computer skills including GIS, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of GIS is a strong plus.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
• A valid driving license and passport.
