Technical Property Manager – Germany

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring, monitoring, and managing the operational technical property management.
  • Monitoring compliance with maintenance and inspection plans as well as general safety regulations and legal requirements.
  • Cooperation with public authorities on the replacement of technical installations.
  • Technical assessment, recommendation, commissioning, and coordination of CapEx and repair measures.
  • Coordination and supervision of external service providers.
  • Warranty management and insurance claims management.
  • Budget preparation and control.
  • Tendering for construction works and technical measures.
  • Managing costs, quality, budget, and timelines.
  • Conducting regular property inspections.
  • Close collaboration with commercial property managers and asset management.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in a technical field or technical training, preferably with an additional qualification (e.g., real estate economist).
  • Solid technical experience in property and/or facility management for commercial real estate.
  • Independent and self-reliant working style.
  • Strong network of craftsmen and service providers.
  • Team player with commitment, flexibility, and assertiveness.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with CAFM systems, especially getFM & Singu.
  • Experience with ERP/Property Management systems, especially Yardi.
  • Language skills: German (native or bilingual level), English (professional working level).
