Our client, a groundbreaking family business in medical manufacturing with over 150 years of history, is embarking on a strategic transformation to expand its presence in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels across Europe and the US. We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of D2C eCommerce to design, lead, and scale this high-impact growth initiative.

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will take full ownership of the company’s D2C strategy and operations—from defining the roadmap to executing key initiatives that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the D2C strategy across all digital sales channels, including eShops and marketplaces.
• Build and lead a cross-functional D2C team, identifying and developing core capabilities.
• Own and manage the D2C P&L, defining KPIs and overseeing performance reporting.
• Drive market prioritization, product portfolio evolution, and geographic expansion planning.
• Ensure a seamless and high-impact customer experience across the entire digital journey.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, IT, and customer service to align operations with growth targets.

Ideal Candidate:

• 10+ years of eCommerce experience, with 5+ years in senior D2C leadership roles.
• Proven success in launching or scaling D2C businesses in international markets.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading B2B-to-D2C transformation initiatives is highly valued.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities in cross-cultural environments.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages
