The Role:

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts across the DACH and Benelux regions. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue, working closely with marketing, partnerships, and BDR teams to generate opportunities and close complex mid-market and enterprise deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Generation: Identify and create new sales opportunities through outbound efforts and collaboration with marketing, BDRs, and partners.
  • Account Growth: Land and expand key customers within your region.
  • Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals, partnering with customer success to drive strong client outcomes.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals with minimal guidance.
  • Sales Process Management: Maintain accurate CRM data, set sales targets, and provide timely reports.
  • Customer Engagement: Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and value propositions.
  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Develop tailored proposals, manage complex pricing structures, and negotiate contract terms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with customer success, partnerships, and marketing to maximise growth opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in business-level German and English.
  • SaaS Sales Experience: 3+ years in a quota-carrying Account Executive role, with a track record of landing and expanding customer accounts.
  • Deal Size Expertise: Proven ability to close €60-100k+ deals.
  • Pipeline Development: Strong outbound prospecting abilities and experience working with BDRs and partner networks.
  • Presentation & Sales Skills: Confidence in delivering product demos, webinars, and presentations.
  • CRM Knowledge: Experience managing sales processes in HubSpot or similar tools.
  • Industry Background: Experience with SaaS business models and startups is a plus.
  • CMS Knowledge: Familiarity with content management platforms is a plus.
  • Public Speaking: Willingness to speak at industry events is a plus.
