Germany | Remote Our Data Services team plays a crucial role in processing a wide range of data related to the global marketing, sale and use of Paessler PRTG. As Team Manager, Data Services, you will lead our five-person interdisciplinary team within Paessler’s Business Intelligence department. Together with your team, you will develop and refine data analyses and reports in key areas such as sales, marketing, and product usage, working closely with stakeholders across the company. YOUR TASKS As a Team Manager, you will lead, mentor, and support a five-person interdisciplinary team within the Business Intelligence (BI) department. You foster a collaborative, analytical, and results-driven team culture, ensuring a strong focus on data quality and business impact. You define team goals, prioritize projects, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data solutions that drive business success. You support your team\’s technical and professional growth, keeping them up to date with the latest technologies – especially in the Microsoft BI ecosystem. You guide your team in developing and refining data analyses, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to generate meaningful insights. You collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure data reporting and analysis align with business objectives and requirements. You advise business units and provide training on KPIs, data analysis, and visualization, fostering a Self-Service BI culture. You work closely with other BI managers to drive BI strategy and continuous improvements, including advancing into areas like predictive and advanced analytics. YOUR PROFILE You have proven leadership and team management skills, enabling you to mentor, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. You bring experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, ideally with Microsoft BI tools such as Azure SQL server, Power BI and Excel. You excel at stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that data solutions align with business needs. You think strategically and can drive data initiatives that support business objectives. You are familiar with sales and marketing KPIs, processes and strategies, particularly in a SaaS environment. You have a strong analytical mindset, enjoying the challenge of identifying trends, patterns, and insights from data. You are a team player with the ability to communicate objectively and clearly. You have a very good command of English and ideally an advanced knowledge of German.
