Overview
In this Co‑CEO role, you’ll own the end-to-end deal cycle and shape the platform’s growth in the German market. You’ll lead strategic M&A activity, build the buy-and-build roadmap, and act as the platform’s public face to founders, lenders, and advisors. You’ll partner with a fellow co‑founder to scale operations and define organizational design and expansion plans. This is a founder-level ownership opportunity in a fast-growing financial services platform.

- Own end-to-end deal cycle: sourcing, pitching, negotiating, executing, integrating
- Develop buy-and-build roadmap with M&A strategy and value‑creation levers
- Represent the platform to SME founders, advisors, lenders, and stakeholders
- Build relationships with sellers, especially founder-led Mittelstand
- Partner with co-founder to run and scale the company
- Conduct deep-dive sector due diligence
- Select and execute initial acquisition
- Structure the German holding company
- Shape organizational design, talent strategy, and long-term expansion plans

- Proven leadership in financial services or related industry
- Background in private equity, mid-market funds, family offices, or corporate M&A/strategy
- Track record of running deals from sourcing to closing
- Strong transaction and financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent pitching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with German SME founders
- Comfort with entrepreneurial risk and ambiguity
- Desire to build and lead a business rather than operate within hierarchical structures
