The company is seeking for a entrepreneurial Head of Tax to strengthen and shape the European tax department within a corporate setting.Job DescriptionLead tax accounting and global tax compliance, ensuring local and international regulationsShape and develop tax accounting department EuropeOversee annual and quarterly financial reporting (IFRS, HGB) and ensure accuracy in financial statementsMonitor income tax calculations for budget and forecast purpose and oversee global income tax complianceProvide a global tax risk management to continuously develop a robust and sustainable framework for mitigating emerging risksEstablish processes and policies for tax compliance, risk management and reportingStay updated on tax laws and their implications for the organization and manage auditsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders on tax-related mattersThe Successful ApplicantMore than 8 years of experience in a multinational corporate or leading advisory firm.Strong technical expertise in corporate taxation, international tax frameworks, and tax reporting standards (IFRS, IAS 12, HGB)Proven leadership experience, including the management of teams, international and external stakeholders, or global tax functionsDemonstrated success in building, transforming, or developing tax accounting organizations, governance structures, or operating modelsStrong track record in managing complex global tax compliance and reporting processes.Entrepreneurial mindset combined with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute at executive decision-making levelExperience with SAP and/or S/4HANA is a plusFluent in English and GermanWhat’s on OfferA high-impact leadership position within a global companyOpportunity to shape and modernise the company's tax accounting departmentAttractive base salary with a bonus on topFlexible working arrangements (2 days Home Office) #J-18808-Ljbffr
