Business Analyst Financial Services (m / w / d)

We are looking for a Business Analyst (m / f / d) with expertise in Transaction-Based Performance Attribution (TBPA) for our client in the financial services sector. This role requires strong analytical skills, as well as experience with financial instruments, performance attribution, and database management.

Responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of current processes through initial onboarding sessions.
• Provide support for Level 1 and Level 2 inquiries, particularly related to performance attribution.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to data management and attribution tools.
• Design and implement process improvements in coordination with relevant teams.
• Transfer knowledge to colleagues to enhance operations and optimize workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PLSQL (database programming and query optimization).
• CFA Level 3 certification or equivalent expertise in financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of performance attribution methods and calculations.
• Experience with futures contracts and their role in portfolio performance.
• Good understanding of options trading and related strategies.
• Familiarity with other derivatives, including swaps and structured products.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
