PALFINGER stands for most innovative, reliable and economic hoist-equipment on utility vehicles and in the maritime sector. We are looking for an experienced and flexible personality to strengthen our team in Bergheim near Salzburg as an Area Sales Manager (f/m/d) .
The Area Sales Manager is responsible to grow the sales, optimize profit of the customer portfolio, align understanding of customer needs across the organization, successfully implement and execute plans and strategies for the customer portfolio while capturing and understanding the needs of the customer.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Market analysis and definition of targets
• Further development of organisational structures, markets and marketing
• Planning of budget/ forecast / trend monitoring / market information / analysis of competition of cranes and complete trucks
• Support for dealers to work on customer specific solutions and definition of standard complete vehicles
• To help with implementation of CRM and roll out of product configurator
• Central point of contact for all topics relating to development of all sales, project and organization development as well as technical discussions relating to development of new products
• To establish a communication and information platform for dealers and customers

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Commercial or technical education
• Several years of experience in Sales of technical investment goods
• High level of autonomy and self-responsibility
• High communication skills and enjoy contact with international partners
• Distinctive intercultural competencies
• Team-Player with language skills, organisation talent, distinctive negotiation skills as well as creative thinking
• Being customer focused, eager to learn, assertive and passionate about outcome
• Good MS Office and SAP skills
• Fluent English – both in writing and speaking, further languages are desirable
• Willingness to travel

  Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.068,12 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
