This role focuses on enhancing business process efficiency, agility, and simplification through Lean, Business Process Management (BPM), and Organizational Change Management (e3+) methodologies. The position is central to enabling the site’s strategic goals and supporting transformation towards more effective and streamlined ways of working.Job DescriptionAs a Business Process Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing business processes across departments within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to document current workflows, redesign inefficient processes, and lead change initiatives that improve operational agility and performance.You will serve as a change champion (e3+), supporting transformation through coaching, training, and deployment of continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s Business Process Architecture and strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Analysis & OptimizationIdentify, map, and document existing business processes across the Biotech Manufacturing site.Analyze process performance to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.Redesign processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize costs.Develop agile processes capable of adapting to organizational and industry changes.Continuous Improvement & InnovationLead deployment of Lean, BPM, and problem-solving initiatives across departments.Collaborate with teams to integrate digital technologies, including AI/ML and automation, into business workflows.Design systems that automate repetitive tasks and enhance data-driven decision-making.Performance Monitoring & Risk ManagementEstablish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.Continuously monitor performance and lead iterative improvement cycles.Identify and mitigate risks associated with new or existing processes.Change Management & Stakeholder EngagementAct as a change agent supporting site transformation and continuous improvement culture.Lead communication and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful adoption of new processes.Coach and train colleagues in Lean, BPM, and e3+ practices to build site capability.Essential RequirementsProven experience in business process management, process improvement, or transformation roles.Strong background in Lean, BPM, and organizational change management methodologies.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex workflows and implement effective process redesigns.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration in a GMP manufacturing environment.Desirable QualificationsExperience leading or coaching continuous improvement programs.Familiarity with digital transformation technologies (e.g., automation, AI/ML integration).Previous experience working in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical site environment.Additional InsightsLocation: Neuchâtel, SwitzerlandDepartment: Business Process Excellence / TransformationStart Date: ASAPInterested?
