Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner | GMP Manufacturing Environment Job Description A pharmaceutical manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance and calibration activities across Facilities, Utilities, and Equipment (FUE) in a GMP-regulated environment. You will manage planned preventative and unplanned maintenance scheduling, coordinate breakdown support activities, and ensure maintenance is aligned with production schedules and resource availability. The role involves close collaboration with production teams, engineering workshops, contractors, and maintenance personnel to ensure timely and compliant execution of all activities. Key Responsibilities Maintaining maintenance schedules, leading weekly planning meetings, coordinating resources and materials, tracking KPIs, escalating overdue activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on Lean and compliant maintenance operations. Essential Requirements HND/HNC in an engineering or technical discipline Experience in engineering maintenance within pharmaceutical, GMP, or highly regulated environments Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes Experience coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and workshop support during breakdowns Ability to align maintenance activities with production schedules and personnel availability Experience managing contractors, materials, spares, and consumables Strong reporting and KPI tracking skills Expert SAP PM knowledge Fluent German and English Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills Detail-oriented with strong logical decision-making abilities Preferred Requirements Experience leading maintenance planning meetings Exposure to Lean maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives Experience handling both preventative and reactive maintenance activities Ability to work effectively in fast-paced manufacturing environments Proactive, resilient, and team-oriented mindset Practicalities Start Date: ASAP Location: Visp, Switzerland Contract Type: Temporary / Contingent Assignment Work Model: Full-time onsite Systems: SAP PM Environment: Pharmaceutical / GMP Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
