Description
The EI&C Maintenance Engineer supports the reliable operation of electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems across manufacturing and utility areas. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, DeltaV support, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.
- Support DeltaV DCS and related automation infrastructure.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and qualification activities.
- Prioritise technical requests from Operations and coordinate work around production.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in SAP.
- Support MES / Syncade issues and system integrations.
- Contribute to reliability, commissioning, and continuous improvement activities.
- Technical degree/qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Process Control, or similar.
- Several years of industrial maintenance or automation experience.
- Hands‑on experience with DeltaV DCS / process control systems .
- Strong electrical and instrumentation knowledge.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment .
- Fluent German .
Preferred Requirements
- SAP PM / maintenance experience.
- MES experience, preferably Syncade .
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical manufacturing background.
- Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, validation, commissioning, or qualification.
