Partner & Manager Delivery Division | Biotechnology Specialist
A leading CMO in Visp is looking for a Senior Supplier & Material Qualification Specialist . This role involves overseeing compliance with service agreements, maintaining up-to-date supplier and raw material data, collecting and analyzing KPIs, and escalating risks or issues on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain raw material suppliers, SOPs, and quality systems.
- Manage the qualification of materials used in manufacturing.
- Ensure suppliers and service providers meet the required qualification standards.
- Maintain accurate supplier and material data in quality systems (SAP, TrackWise).
- Handle deviations and changes related to suppliers and materials.
- Collect and analyze KPIs associated with supplier and material-related services.
- Escalate critical quality issues on time, ensuring GMP compliance.
- Act as a deputy for material release in LIMS.
- Act as a deputy for special usage decisions related to materials.
PROFILE
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality management systems.
- Experience with quality systems, particularly SAP and LIMS.
- Expertise in quality tools such as deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in material and supplier qualification.
PRACTICALITIES
- Start date: February/March (ASAP)
- Contract duration: 6 months (high chance of extension) hybrid options
- Permit: Eligible to work in Switzerland
- Work Environment: Dynamic, fast-paced, and compliance-driven
