Pangea (formerly GST AutoLeather, Inc.) is a premier global provider of leather upholstery for automotive seating and trim, and supplies many of the world’s major OEM’s, including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, GM, FCA, Volkswagen, and BMW, among others.
Scope and Responsibilities
This designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams comprised of CMF designers, product development engineers, sales and marketing to initiate and develop superior leather products for our OEM customers.
They will build relationships with customers to help drive sales, represent Pangea’s global brand and become our customers’ trusted advisor.
They will be responsible for creating and promoting Pangea’s leather, enrichments and sustainability initiatives from concepts into production products.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in English and German
- Ability to read and define color
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to create and present products using new and unique presentation methods
- Ability to communicate clearly in a professional manner
- Understanding of automotive concepts, prototypes and production
- Ability and willingness to travel
