The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of models assessing the underlying risk (including high level experience analysis) and development of the appropriate structure (with broader team) to meet clients needs. The position will be based in Zurich, Paris, London or Dublin. /p pThe role provides the opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of products and innovative reinsurance solutions in diverse markets and you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our Global Life Financial Solutions team, and the wider enhancement of PartnerRe’s Life Health propositions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pYour mission is to develop and price financial solutions transactions and grow PartnerRe’s revenue in the EMELA region. /p h3In More Detail Your Responsibilities Will Include /h3 ul liDevelop, structure and market appropriate reinsurance solutions encompassing accounting, regulatory and economic risk-transfer aspects /li liTechnical development of pricing tools to analyse risk and profitability of life reinsurance solutions /li liContribute to the deal execution involving responding to RFPs, negotiating terms with clients and brokers, and prepare internal approval memos /li liSupport the business development efforts prospecting/client visits promoting our solutions and tailoring to specific client objectives /li liPrepare and make internal and external presentations on life reinsurance topics as required /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 bTechnical Skills: /b ul liYou are a technically excellent individual with an ability to demonstrate commercial sense /li liStrong actuarial background in pricing life and health insurance / reinsurance and familiar with accounting standards (e.g., USGAAP, IFRS17) /li liGood knowledge of Solvency 2 is essential, including awareness of some of the issues faced by insurers /li /ul h3Behavioral Competencies /h3 ul liCreativity, curiosity, and pragmatism are desirable attitudes /li liYou enjoy collaborating with your colleagues as well as working on your own /li liYour preference is to be part of an international and multicultural environment, handling diverse tasks, yet always ready to support the team effort and meet the business needs /li liComfortable in a client facing capacity as well as working in a dynamic and fast paced environment /li liGreat communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills /li liFluent English speaker.
