Overview
In this role you will support Partners Group's Country Head Compliance Germany in Munich, focusing on German and European regulation to ensure MiFID compliance across Germany and European branches. You will contribute to the compliance monitoring program, handle reports and policies, and participate in regulatory projects. The role sits within a global, diverse Compliance team in a fast-growing firm, offering exposure to cross-border regulatory challenges and automation opportunities. You will work closely with auditors and IT/business teams to strengthen controls and enable compliant growth.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Maintain and improve the compliance monitoring program in Germany
- Manage compliance-related systems, controls, checks and investigations
- Draft and review periodic compliance reports, policies and directives
- Contribute to regulatory projects (e.g., AIFMD, SFDR, EU AML Directive)
- Review marketing materials and activities in German/English
- Liaise with external/internal auditors and prepare regulatory audit documentation
- Stay updated on regulatory developments in Germany and Europe
- Perform AML tasks for EU entities
- Lead end-to-end compliance-related projects with manager support
- Assist with risk management, service provider oversight, and compliance training
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in legal, paralegal or compliance studies, business administration, finance, or similar
- At least one year of work experience in compliance, audit, or legal preferred
- Background in financial services is a plus
- Ability to work independently and implement processes
- Interest in leveraging new technologies to automate compliance processes
- Excellent German and English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of French, Italian and/or Swedish is a strong plus
- Strong analytical, methodical and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite
