International organisation has a brand-new requirement for a Senior Corporate Immigration Attorney to advise on German immigration legislation. You will provide main point of contact service to a range of high profile organisations, keeping them updated with legislation changes, whilst advising on best labour law practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the leadership team for a fast growing organisation.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Lead a team of immigration specialists providing advice on German immigration legislation
- Act as an escalation point regarding any complex German immigration queries.
- Delegate caseloads across team members
- Work closely with government departments
- Regularly providing advice and training to changes in legislation
- Support across global projects covering multiple location
- Take an active role in business development, driving the development of the firms service
You will ideally:
- Hold strong experience in corporate immigration advising on on German legislation.
- Demonstrated experience of working within a corporate law firm or Big 4 environment is preferred.
- Previous people management experience is key, as you will be leading a team of specialist consultants.
- You will be able to demonstrate up to date and knowledge of current German immigration legislation.
- Fluency in German and English is also key.
- Qualification as a Rechtsanwalt
- Ability to build strong client relationships is also key as you will provide a main point of contact service to a range of high profile global organisations.
- Exposure to working within global immigration is an advantage
