What Your Role Looks Like
We are expanding our sustainability team and are looking for a hands-on, structured and curious person to support our sustainability activities across cotton and cocoa. In this role, you will report to the Senior Sustainability Manager, who is leading our sustainability team, and work on a broad range of topics, including sustainability reporting, certifications, regulatory requirements, KPI monitoring, data collection and cross-functional project coordination.
As sustainability work is becoming increasingly data-driven, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes and turning complex information into clear insights for decision-making, reporting and audits.
In your day-to-day work, you will:
Support the sustainability team inthe development and implementation of our sustainability strategy across cotton and cocoa
Coordinate sustainability-related projects across departments, commodities, and international locations
Further develop sustainability KPIs and support regular monitoring, analysis and reporting
Improve data collection processes and help ensure completeness, consistency and quality of sustainability data
Support compliance with regulatory requirements, certification schemes and audit preparation
Contribute to sustainability reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Engage with clients and stakeholders on sustainability-related topics
Help translate sustainability requirements into practical business processes and tools
What You Bring
Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Business Administration or related field; legal background is a plus
2-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in sustainability, agricultural supply chains, reporting, certification or compliance
Strong interest in agricultural raw materials, international trade and sustainability
Affinity for working with data, KPIs, reporting tools and process improvement
Structured, analytical and hands-on working style with attention to detail
Experience with sustainability related frameworks, certification schemes or regulatory reporting is a plus.
Proficiency in German and English is required (spoken and written). Spanish, French and Portuguese are frequently used in daily activities and are considered a plus.
Good communication skills and enjoys working cross-functionally, internationally across different cultures
Willingness to travel internationally
