None of that works unless our propulsion, fluidics, structures, and spacecraft systems are tested, understood, and improved fast. That starts with clean, trusted, actionable test data. /ppThat’s the job. /ph3So, why now? /h3pWe are scaling up propulsion and spacecraft test campaigns, from component-level checks to full engine and system tests. Every test generates large volumes of sensor data: pressure, temperature, thrust, flow, vibration, strain, valve timing, DAQ signals, and more. /ppYou’ll build the processing, analysis, and reporting workflows that turn raw data into engineering insight on a timeline measured in hours or days, not weeks. /ppYour work will directly influence whether hardware is redesigned, accepted, retested, or fired again. /ph3You will own /h3ulliBuild and maintain automated test data processing pipelines /liliClean, synchronize, filter, calibrate, and validate raw test data /liliProcess data from propulsion, fluidics, structural, thermal, and system-level tests /liliGenerate post-test plots, dashboards, reports, and engineering summaries /liliDetect sensor issues, timing errors, drift, noise, saturation, and anomalies /liliCompare test results against models, requirements, and acceptance criteria /liliSupport hot-fire, cold-flow, pressure, leak, vibration, thermal, and functional testing /liliWork with test, propulsion, fluidics, structures, GNC, and systems engineers to interpret results /liliMaintain traceable datasets, scripts, reports, and test records /liliHelp define instrumentation, sampling rates, data channels, and test-data requirements before campaigns /li /ulh3What we are looking for /h3ulli2+ years hands-on experience processing engineering test data /liliStrong Python and/or MATLAB skills /liliExperience with time-series data, filtering, signal processing, and sensor calibration /liliAbility to work with real hardware test data, not just clean textbook datasets /liliSolid engineering fundamentals in at least some of: /lilithermodynamics /liliheat transfer /lilistructural mechanics /lilivibration or dynamics /liliExperience producing clear plots, reports, and technical conclusions /liliStrong attention to detail, traceability, and data quality /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliAerospace, automotive, propulsion, high-pressure, or high-reliability test experience /liliExperience with DAQ systems such as LabVIEW, National Instruments, Dewesoft, HBM, Beckhoff, or similar /liliExperience with propulsion sensors: pressure transducers, thermocouples, flow meters, load cells, strain gauges, accelerometers, valve position sensors /liliExperience with hot-fire, cold-flow, TVAC, vibration, structural, or pressure testing /liliSQL, databases, or structured test-data management /liliUncertainty analysis and measurement error propagation /liliFamiliarity with CFD, FEA, Modelica, EcosimPro, Simulink, or system simulation tools /li /ulh3You will fit if /h3ulliYou like finding the story hidden inside messy test data /liliYou care about whether a sensor is lying before anyone makes a design decision from it /liliYou can write scripts that other engineers can actually reuse /liliYou understand that a plot is only useful if it leads to a decision /liliYou are comfortable moving between code, physics, instrumentation, and hardware /liliYou want your work to influence real tests, real engines, and real spacecraft /li /ulpThis is hard, early, and fully on-site in Villeneuve, VD, close to our test site in Chavalon, because we have a strong on-site hardware culture. Some tests will not behave as expected. Some data will be noisy, incomplete, or surprising. That is exactly why this role matters. /ppWhat makes it worth it: you will help build the data backbone behind one of the most ambitious propulsion programs in Switzerland. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
