About the Role We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven

Senior Quantity Surveyor

to join our team, working on a portfolio of

high-profile blue-chip projects across Europe .

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior QS to take responsibility for major construction packages within a fast-paced, technically demanding environment. The successful candidate will have strong commercial and contractual experience, with exposure to large-scale projects and complex subcontractor packages.

Experience within the

roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope sectors

would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Take full commercial responsibility for assigned projects and packages from pre-construction through to final account.

Prepare, manage and monitor project budgets, forecasts and cash flow.

Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, negotiations and commercial agreements.

Prepare and review valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.

Monitor project costs against budgets and identify commercial risks and opportunities.

Manage contractual correspondence, notices, claims and extensions of time.

Review and negotiate subcontractor accounts and ensure commercial compliance.

Provide accurate monthly cost/value reporting to senior management and project stakeholders.

Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Contracts Managers, Design Teams and site personnel.

Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Support the resolution of commercial and contractual disputes where required. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have:

5+ years' experience

working as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant experience at Senior QS level.

Proven experience working on

large-scale commercial, industrial, data centre, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other blue-chip projects .

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial management and procurement.

Experience managing significant subcontractor packages and project values.

Strong understanding of variations, claims, valuations, final accounts and cost reporting.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

A commercially focused and proactive approach.

Ability to work independently while operating effectively within a wider project team.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Willingness and ability to travel across Europe.

Roofing & Cladding Experience – Highly Desirable Experience within the

roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope industry

would be a significant advantage.
