Head of IT Division (CIO)

As CIO, you will lead the IT function across Continental Europe, shaping the technology, data and AI strategy, driving digital transformation, and ensuring secure, compliant, and value-driven IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the IT function across PEAC Solutions Europe, overseeing five teams and more than 50 employees in nine European countries.
• Own, manage, and optimize our core enterprise SAP platforms, ensuring they scale efficiently to support our complex leasing and finance products.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud technologies, SAP, automation, advanced analytics, AI and intelligent workflow solutions.
• Ensure secure, resilient and compliant IT operations, including cybersecurity, technology risk management, data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with executive management, shareholder and key stakeholders while leading IT investments, vendor management and organizational development.

Your Profile

• 10+ years of senior technology leadership experience within financial services, banking, leasing, fintech or another regulated environment.
• Must be business-fluent in German and English
• Strong expertise in SAP-based enterprise environments, cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, data, automation and AI solutions.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale IT transformations and modernization programs with measurable business impact.
• Deep understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, technology risk and regulatory frameworks, including DORA, Ma Risk and GDPR.
• University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification, combined with international leadership experience.
• Strategic and commercially minded leader with the ability to translate technology investments into business value.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging executive boards, shareholder and regulators.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual capabilities, able to simplify and communicate complex topics effectively.
• Hands-on mindset combined with strategic thinking, sound judgment and a strong execution focus.
• Proven ability to lead organizational, technological and cultural transformation in an international environment.
