Задачи
- Own complex backend systems end to end, from scoping and architecture to reliable delivery
- Design and build scalable APIs and distributed systems that power the products
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Design teams to turn product ideas into backend solutions
- Drive innovation in backend architecture and developer experience
- Evolve backend architecture, infrastructure, and developer tooling to support rapid iteration at scale
- Identify and execute improvements to system performance, reliability, and developer experience
Требования
- 5+ Years of professional backend engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments
- Deep expertise in Python and FastAPI, with a track record of building and scaling production systems
- Experience designing and implementing REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs for user-facing products
- Strong experience with SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling for production systems
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, ideally on GCP, including Cloud Functions, Cloud Tasks, or Firestore
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
- Familiarity with Vertex AI and ML-specific infrastructure
- Strong communication skills and a high sense of ownership; able to work autonomously while staying aligned with team goals
- Demonstrated excellence, which may also be outside work, such as a high FIDE rating
- Kind, collaborative, and hardworking, with empathy and openness
