A dual study program combines practice and theory and gives you the opportunity to qualify as an expert for one of our business areas. We are the perfect training company for you if you are interested in studying mechanical or electrical engineering. Your theoretical training will take place at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel. You will build up and continuously expand your practical knowledge at the Peiner plant and the plant of the Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH.
After completion of your studies, you will also have the opportunity to join us directly as a permanent employee and play a key role in driving our production operations forward.

As part of the Niedersachsen‑Technikum programme, you are given the opportunity to get your orientation before choosing a career or course of study in a scientific or technical field. Together with the TU Braunschweig, we offer female high school graduates a 6‑month paid internship.
You will spend four days a week getting to know our company and working in the steel industry. One day a week you will visit our partner university and actively take part in events from the current course catalogue. A major benefit: the internship salary is €500 per month.
