The Junior Endoscopy Demo Systems Inspection Technician, EMEA is expected to recognize customer needs and work toward meeting them with the support of the team. The ability to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment is essential to ensure the professional handling of PENTAX demo equipment across the EMEA region, as these systems are an important contributor to the company's business success. The Junior Endoscopy Demo Systems Inspection Technician, EMEA will be supported in implementing new processes and continuously improving existing ones. Specifically, the role is responsible for supporting the inspection and functional testing of demo and loan equipment, test models, prototypes, and new devices, as well as performing the related administrative and technical tasks. This also includes logistical handling of equipment and preparatory activities for demonstrations. Key Responsibilities / Main Duties Essential Duties Support the inspection and functional testing of medical devices. Communicate with internal and external customers regarding basic technical inquiries. Assist in the reprocessing/preparation of medical endoscopes. Perform leakage current measurements on medical devices under supervision. Support the management and order processing of demonstration equipment, including shipping and receiving loan devices. Assist in setting up and cabling video systems and equipment for demonstration purposes. Support incoming inspections of trade show equipment and customer returns. Assist with quality inspections of refurbished/second-hand equipment. Help with the logistical handling of equipment. Support the management of second-hand devices (e.g., customer trade-ins). Assist with receiving loan equipment and creating repair order numbers. Qualifications Education Technical training or education is advantageous. Professional Experience Previous experience working with medical devices is required. Skills and Special Qualifications Strong technical understanding.
