Job Title: Project Manager – Electrical Equipment (Transformers / GIS / Switchgear) Location: Eschborn, Germany About the Company: Our client is a European subsidiary of a global manufacturer of high-voltage electrical equipment, including transformers, GIS, rotating machines and switchgear. The company imports products manufactured in Korea and distributes them across the European market, managing the full scope of customer contracts, including logistics, installation and testing, through a network of local sub-suppliers. Role Overview: We are looking for a Project Manager to lead contracts with customers across Europe, from initial planning through delivery, quality assurance and final evaluation. Key Responsibilities Manage projects for customer contracts across Europe, from planning through completion Define project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks and required resources Obtain quotations from, contract with and manage external transportation and installation service providers Manage the project budget for the local scope of work Build the project schedule and timeline, and support or direct the relevant team Lead quality assurance and report on project status, progress, problems and solutions Implement and manage changes needed to meet project deliverables, and evaluate final project results Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (a background at Hitachi, Siemens, GE or SGB-Smit is a plus) Professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Korean, French, German or a Nordic language is an advantage Strong command of MS Office and SAP A structured, responsible, independent and proactive way of working Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Willingness to travel for meetings and site visits as required
