About our client
Our client is a top-performing small-cap private equity firm that has been active in the German Mittelstand, focusing on companies with special tech products for over a decade. Their goal is to become the Number 1 for small and medium-sized companies. With over €170 million AuM and ticket sizes between €5 – 15 million, this firm brings extensive investment experience as well as deep expertise in its field.
The firm is now looking to hire an additional member for its investment team at Associate level. This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional to join their Frankfurt team with good exposure and high responsibility from day one. The role incorporates all aspects of the deal cycle, from origination to execution, with active portfolio involvement. The firm seeks to hire with a long-term perspective and will provide you with excellent career development opportunities.
What the job involves

Who we are looking for
- Strong education record (Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree) in finance, business or economics
- Highly numerate, strong modelling skills and familiarity with relevant contracts
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, a team player with a hands-on mentality
- Native German speaker and excellent English skills are required
