About our client

Our client is a highly regarded independent buyout firm operating in the DACH mid-market. With their passion for medium-sized businesses, as well as the principle \’capital from entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs\‘, they want to turn innovative visions into reality. The fund\’s added value is created organically or through acquisitions through growth, led by a team of operational experts. The firm is currently investing their 4th fund and is now looking to grow their investment team with an additional Associate in Munich.

What the job involves

1. Take on a significant project lead role in all aspects of a transaction, from deal origination to execution and exit.
2. Conduct quantitative and qualitative investment analysis, diligence, structuring, and negotiations through to closing.
3. Extend the firm\’s already successful origination activities, building networks and opportunities with families, entrepreneurs, and management teams.

Who we are looking for

1. Top class academic background, excellent quantitative skills, and a high attention to detail.
2. Previous experience in M&A advisory from a top-tier investment bank or consulting firm.
3. A true team player and an energetic self-starter with great project management skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, interest in working with medium-sized entrepreneurial companies, ability to build long-term relationships. You must be a native-level German speaker with fluency in English.
