About our client
Our client, a prominent multi-strategy investment firm with $160bn AUM across Europe, the United States, Asia and Middle East, is looking to add a junior investment professional to their infrastructure team in Frankfurt. As an international leader in essential infrastructures, they are developing a major renewable energy portfolio and introduced energy efficiency policies in all portfolio companies. The team has made more than 60 investments and is targeting equity tickets of EUR 500m-1bn. Their current fundraise has already surpassed EUR 5bn in commitments with an overall target of EUR 10bn.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high calibre team with an exceptional deal flow as well as a commitment to improving the environmental and societal impact of their investments. What the job involves
- Involvement in all aspects of deal origination and execution of complex transactions
- Analysis of potential target companies and business models
- Creation of integrated financial models
- Managing of due diligence activities
- Driving value creation within portfolio companies through to exit
Who we are looking for
- Relevant experience in investment banking (M&A), consulting or private equity
- Exceptionally strong academic background
- Top financial modelling skills and outstanding analytical skills as well as sector understanding
- Ability to communicate effectively with management teams
- Fluent in English and either German, Dutch, or any Nordic language with excellent written and verbal communication skills
