About our client
Our client is a successful and well-established international private equity fund, with their entrepreneurial large-cap team looking for an Associate to be based in Frankfurt. The fund has an excellent track record across Europe, investing with a sector-agnostic approach albeit focusing on Tech/Software, Business Services, and Industrials. Our client is granted a broad investment mandate and known for their strong deal flow; this will allow for great exposure to all aspects of a deal cycle right from the start.
This position therefore offers a long-term career path in a dynamic environment and within a highly driven, small team. What the job involves
- Active participation in deal origination, deal execution and portfolio management
- Focus on financial and commercial analysis, models, due diligence, and all aspects of deal execution
- Contribute to the ongoing management of portfolio companies, driving value creation and eventually managing the exit process
Who we are looking for
- Outstanding academic record from an established university
- Prior professional M&A experience from a top tier/boutique investment bank, private equity fund or a consulting background
- Top-of-the-class research, analytical and quantitative skills with an entrepreneurial eye
- Articulate and commercially savvy nature with a strong passion for investing
- High-energy team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a flat organizational structure while seeking early responsibility
- Native-level German language skills and fluency in English are required
- German speaker with excellent English skills
