Our client is a successful and well-established international private equity fund, with their entrepreneurial large-cap team looking for an Associate to be based in Frankfurt. The fund has an excellent track record across multiple fund cycles and a strong deal pipeline. They invest in buyouts with a focus on business services, healthcare, and industrials. This position offers a long-term career path in a dynamic environment and within a highly driven team. What the job involves

• You will be an essential member of the team with exposure to the full lifecycle of investments from acquisition through to exit
• You will be collaborating, influencing, and executing strategic changes across the portfolio companies to build strategic and financial value in close cooperation with management teams
• High degree of responsibility from the start, hands-on work and close interaction with the senior team members

Who we are looking for

• Great academic record from an established university
• Prior professional M&A experience from a top-tier/boutique investment bank, private equity fund or a consulting background
• The team is looking for a true team player who prizes culture above self-interest. A candidate who has a growth mindset that thrives on a high level of autonomy and a "sleeves rolled up" mentality
• Furthermore, the upper mid-market segment requires an attitude of understated excellence and high entrepreneurial thinking to successfully engage with management teams
• German speaker with excellent English skills
