About our client

We are working with a global investment manager whose private equity secondaries team is about to launch their 5th vintage. They are looking for a seasoned investor to join them in Geneva or Zurich, focusing on the full range of secondary transactions as well as co-investments in Europe.

What the job involves

1. Sourcing new secondary investment opportunities through existing relationships with GPs and intermediaries.
2. Conducting detailed review and due diligence of investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis of single asset and multi-asset investments.
3. Preparing investment proposals and managing the closing process of transactions.
4. Ensuring monitoring and reporting of the investment portfolio.
5. Supporting client-facing activities such as update calls, investor relations, and fundraising meetings.

Who we are looking for

1. Proven experience in private equity (primaries and/or secondaries), with a background in M&A and/or transaction services.
2. Expertise in financial modelling, particularly financial statement analysis, financial accounting, and corporate finance.
3. University or equivalent degree from a top-tier institution.
4. Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is an asset.
