What the job involves
- Building and leading the strategy's presence in DACH as its senior local representative
- Finding investment opportunities in cybersecurity and wider technologies through a strong network of founders, corporates, advisers and co-investors
- Leading transactions from start to finish: investment thesis, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation and closing
- Taking board seats and working with management teams on value creation, buy-and-build and exit strategies
- Building relationships across the German speaking technology ecosystem
- Supporting fundraising and investor relations
- Monitoring current and newly acquired DACH portfolio investments and supporting value creation
- Carrying out divestment operations and managing exit strategies
Who we are looking for
- 10+ years of experience in private equity, growth equity or technology M&A, with a proven track record of leading deals
- Deep understanding of software and technology business models
- An established network in the German-speaking technology ecosystem
- Board-level experience and a hands-on approach to working with portfolio companies
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to build a local platform
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop junior team members
- Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills are a must
- Fundraising experience is a plus
