Head of M&A, PE-backed B2B Services Buy

About our clientA fast-growing business services company in the infrastructure services sector, backed by an experienced and entrepreneurial private equity firm with a strong growth trajectory is currently looking for a Head of M&A to lead the origination and execution of add-on acquisitions.The company expects to significantly grow in size over the next few years and drive Buy & Build across DACH as well as adjacent European countries. It is looking for an experienced M&A professional who has worked with founders and entrepreneurs, possesses extensive deal experience and is a natural networker who can source and execute on deals independently and build a strong network in the industry.This position will report directly to the managing directors and have significant investor exposure. It will be essential for driving inorganic growth and value creation across the business.What the job involvesSourcing of and maintaining a strong add-on acquisition pipelineExecuting on add-on acquisitions from start to finish supported by a team of external advisors as well as internal managementConnecting with founders and entrepreneurs, guiding them through the acquisition process and building a strong network in the industryInternal collaboration with relevant management on PMIWho we are looking forSeveral years of M&A experience either in a corporate M&A role in a PE-backed portfolio company, investment banking or a similar environmentProven track record of executing on M&A transactions from start to finish, including overall process coordination, valuation, due diligence, legal documentation as well as all other aspects of a dealHands-on approach with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and take ownershipOutstanding strategic and commercial skillset with great communication and presentation skillsFluency in German and English
