About our client
Our client is an independent private equity firm investing in lower mid-market companies across the DACH region. It backs established, market-leading businesses in industrial technology, including related software and services.
The firm's founding team has long experience in mid-market investing in the region. It takes an active, operator-led approach to ownership, with an in-house operations team working alongside management to create value. Responsible investment is a key part of its approach.
To support its continued growth, our client is looking to strengthen its investment team.
What the job involves
- Finding and screening investment opportunities in industrial technology, business services and MedTech companies across DACH
- Running financial analysis, valuation and LBO modelling
- Managing due diligence workstreams and coordinating external advisers
- Working closely with portfolio companies and the in-house operations team on value creation, add-on acquisitions and exit preparation
- Contributing to the firm's development as a member of a small, entrepreneurial team with broad experience across PE, investment banking and consulting
Who we are looking for
- Solid academic background in business, finance, engineering or a related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- A coupleyears' of professional experience, including initial experience in private equity
- Team player with an entrepreneurial approach and a commercial mindset
- Exceptional written and spoken German and English are a must
