Junior Systems Engineer

pFortinet is looking for an enthusiastic and technically curious Junior Systems Engineer (SE) to join and support our growing Inside Regional Account Manager (iRAM) Territory team in the bZurich /barea. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their cybersecurity career who already has a solid foundation in networking and IT security and wants to develop into a customer-facing pre-sales Systems Engineer. /p pWorking alongside experienced Fortinet Systems Engineers, Account Managers and technology specialists, you will help the iRAM team support a growing customer base. You will participate in customer meetings, technical demonstrations, workshops and Proofs of Concept while progressively developing the technical and business skills required to manage your own opportunities. /p pbThe objective is clear: grow into an autonomous Fortinet Systems Engineer while immediately adding technical capacity to the iRAM team. /b /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the iRAM Sales Team /li liWork closely with iRAM Account Managers and experienced Systems Engineers on customer opportunities. /li liAssist with technical discovery and qualification of customer requirements. /li liPrepare technical presentations, demonstrations and solution proposals. /li liParticipate in customer meetings and workshops, initially alongside senior SEs and progressively taking greater ownership. /li liHelp answer technical questions and coordinate with Fortinet specialists when deeper expertise is required. /li liFollow up on technical actions generated during customer engagements. /li liTechnical Demonstrations PoCs /li liBuild and maintain demonstration environments. /li liSupport customer Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and evaluations. /li liAssist in defining test scenarios and success criteria. /li liConfigure Fortinet solutions in lab and customer environments. /li liTroubleshoot technical issues with guidance from experienced SEs when needed. /li liDocument configurations, test results and technical outcomes. /li liDevelop Fortinet Platform Expertise /li /ul pbBuild hands-on expertise across the Fortinet Security Fabric, starting with core technologies such as: /b /p ul liFortiGate /li liSecure Networking /li liSD-WAN /li liVPN /li liFortiSwitch /li liFortiAP /li liFortiManager /li liFortiAnalyzer /li liFortiClient / ZTNA /li liFortiSASE /li liFortiGuard Security Services /li /ul pThe expectation is not to be an expert across the portfolio from day one.
