Design Engineer (m/f/d) Drilling Technology in Walkenried

• Responsibility for the technical support of our products & product cost optimization.




• Further development of manufacturing processes.




• Master data management: Management of master data including documentation in CAD and ERP. Administration of associated documents such as bills of materials and schematic sketches.




• Change management: Processing of item and bill of material changes in the CAD and ERP system.




• Project management: Leading internal projects within the scope of technical product support. Application of professional project management methods to identify and implement process improvements.




• Technical tasks: Calculation, design, detailing, and 3D modeling of components including drawing creation.




• Continuous further development of our drilling tool portfolio for a wide variety of applications.




• Collaboration with customers to determine specific requirements and implement them into innovative solutions.

Your Profile

• Completed technical degree or comparable qualification.




• In-depth knowledge in the field of drilling tool design for vertical and/or horizontal drilling: Mining, well construction, geotechnics, oil & gas, rotary drilling (mud drilling), auger drilling, etc.




• Experience and understanding of geological contexts from a drilling technology perspective.




• Ideally, experience in special-purpose machine engineering and technical product support.




• Sound knowledge of CAD and ERP systems, ideally Inventor.




• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence.




• Creativity and ability to innovate in the development of new solutions.
