Overview In this role you will perform maintenance and repair of controlled temperature units on customer sites, ensuring uptime in GMP-regulated environments. You will work within the on-site Customer Service Engineers team to diagnose, calibrate, and qualify devices, while documenting activities in CCMS/SMMS with ALCOA+ principles. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and promote value-added offerings. This is a hands-on position at the intersection of service excellence and regulatory compliance, impacting critical customer operations. You will operate in a structured, safety-conscious environment and contribute to PerkinElmer’s health-science mission. Verantwortungsbereiche Perform maintenance and repair on CTUs (freezers, refrigerators, incubators, etc.) at customer sites Conduct temperature mapping, qualification support, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting Clean, decontaminate, and maintain customer materials handling equipment Document activities in CCMS/SMMS following ALCOA+ principles Author maintenance and calibration protocols aligned with ISO/USP standards Provide frontline assistance and on-site support for the CSE team Support simple device qualification (thermometers, heat blocks, analytical balances, refrigerated centrifuges, etc.) Communicate value-added services benefits to customers Zentrale Anforderungen Proven experience as Refrigeration/Cooling Appliances Repair Service Technician or similar Valid authorization to work with refrigerants in industrial applications (Swiss VFB-K Art. 1 Abs. 1 Bst. B or equivalent) Swiss Federal Certificate of Capacity as Installer-Electrician or equivalent licenses under OIBT/NIV GxP environment experience preferred Business proficiency in English and German; additional languages welcome Valid driver’s license customer-focused communication team collaboration problem solving under regulatory constraints refrigeration appliance repair and maintenance temperature mapping and qualification calibration procedures
