In this role, you willsupport the operational Gas Dispatch team with selected operational dispatching and support activities in an office hour setting atour client, a partner for electricity- and naturalgas in Germany and european countries.
For the location in Düsseldorf we are looking for an Gas Dispatch / Gas Operations Specialist (m/f/d)to start as soon as possible.
The position is to be filled as part of a temporary employment arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Support the commercial operation of the company´s Western European gas portfolio in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Spain
- Send and receive nominations from external stakeholders and resolve mismatches
- Storage, LNG and transportation dispatch
- Ensure that sufficient entry and exit capacity is available to meet the physical gas requirements by participating in the various spot capacity auctions
- Support in managing interruptions to gas supplies and assist the Dispatchers during critical gas supply or gas deficit emergencies
Profile & Experiences
- Proven experience in Gas dispatching, gas scheduling or gas operations
- Operational experience in Western European gas markets, including NBP (UK), National Gas / NTS (UK), TTF (Netherlands), ZTP (Belgium), Fluxys market areas and Gasunie Transport Services (GTS)
- Erperiences in Gas nominations and re-nominations (VTP, Power Plants, Storage, LNG), Transport capacity booking, Monitoring of operational restrictions and interruptions, Communication with TSOs, terminal operators and counterparties, Operational reporting and reconciliation, Incident and exception management
- Secure use of (one or more) Gas dispatch and scheduling systems, Endur or comparable ETRM platforms, Trading platforms, TSO nomination portals, Capacity booking platforms, Storage operator portals, LNG operator portals, systems such as Daisy, Prisma, Gemini, RBP, GTS and similar industry platforms
- Ability to independently support an operational environment
- Team-oriented and reliable, strong operational decision-making capability and ability to remain effective under time-critical conditions
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
