Accounts payable clerk (m/f/d) in Dortmund

Responsibilities

• You will post incoming supplier invoices, both with and without a purchase order reference, in a timely manner and ensure they are processed smoothly
• You will reliably enter processed cash and travel expense claims into the system
• You prepare and execute electronic bank payments for several companies, whilst keeping an eye on payment terms
• When clarifying invoice items, you work closely with other departments and ensure transparent reconciliation
• You maintain accounts payable master data and accounts, keeping them up to date at all times
• You monitor outstanding items and process reminders on time
• You check invoices for factual and numerical accuracy and resolve discrepancies independently
• You provide support during reconciliations between accounts payable and other financial processes

Qualifications

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), office management assistant (m/f/d) or tax clerk (m/f/d)
• Several years’ experience in accounting would be an advantage
• Ideally, you have practical experience with ERP systems
• You are characterised by a service-oriented approach, commitment and motivation
• You are confident in using MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• Good written and spoken German skills round off your profile
